This morning I received the following email:

Hello Joyce,

      I would like to express my sincerest gratitude for the thoughtfulness that went into all the care packages and cards my team and I received while stationed over here in Iraq.

All the Cards, the snacks, the personal hygiene stuff.....it was all greatly appreciated!!

Please be sure to pass along our thanks and a Merry Christmas to everyone who participated!!!

I appreciate it when one of our troops takes the time to thank us for the cards. I send cards to Katie Deiter who is the leader of Operation LTM (Love the Military). She sends care packages that include our cards.

On the first Friday of each month (the second Friday if there is a holiday near the first Friday), I host an evening of stamping to make cards to send to the troops. These cards are for service men and women to send home to their loved ones. If you would like to join us in Hudson, WI, we would love to have you! Please mark your calendar:
